Director Engineering- Agentic AI

As the Director of Engineering at ThoughtSpot, you will lead a team of managers and senior engineers in developing cutting-edge data analytics products. You will be actively involved in architecture, design, and development processes, guiding projects from inception to completion while ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives. - Lead a team of managers and senior engineers to build Gen AI/Applied ML, Data Analytics, or platform solutions from scratch. - Actively participate in architecture, design, and development to ensure scalability and performance. - Navigate uncertainty, prioritize features, and drive projects towards clear goals. - Focus on customer-centric development to ensure solutions meet user needs. - Foster a growth mindset, mentor engineers, and promote best practices. - Collaborate with product and leadership teams to ensure alignment on goals and execution. Qualifications: - 15+ years of experience in tech, with at least 10 years in leadership/technical roles. - Strong expertise in architecture and design for complex systems. - Experience in building 0 to 1 solutions in Gen AI/Applied ML, Data Analytics, or Platform Engineering or Large Scale Backend Systems. - Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and managers (40-50 people). - Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset. - Excellent communication and team management skills.
