Description
As a Senior Leader in Commercial Data Science at PepsiCo, your primary role is to drive the development, deployment, and sustainability of advanced analytics solutions across various platforms like Perfect Store, sDNA, cDNA, ROI Engine, RGM, and Sales Effectiveness. You will partner closely with global data science hubs and commercial stakeholders to ensure alignment with global strategies while enabling scalable, high-impact AI/ML solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading Strategy and Execution for Commercial Data Science in India, shaping and driving the regional vision aligned with global priorities. - Co-owning and delivering scalable AI/ML solutions across platforms in partnership with global hubs. - Ensuring model sustainment and business impact through robust governance, monitoring, and performance tracking. - Driving integration across functions and platforms by embedding data science solutions into core business processes through effective collaboration. - Building and developing high-performing, cross-functional teams by recruiting, growing, and leading technical talent while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. - Promoting adoption and change management across markets by driving user adoption of data science tools through structured change initiatives and stakeholder engagement. In terms of qualifications, you should have: Experience and Leadership: - 12+ years of progressive experience in developing and deploying data science and AI-driven solutions. - 5+ years of experience in senior leadership roles managing high-performing analytics and data science teams. - Strong track record of collaborative leadership across geographies and hands-on experience delivering production-level analytic and machine learning solutions. Machine Learning Expertise: - 8+ years of experience with proficiency in SQL and Python-based data transformation frameworks. - Advanced experience applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to business problems. - Proven experience building and validating models for demand forecasting, promotional ROI, customer segmentation, and sales force effectiveness. Technical Proficiency: - Strong command of Python and industry-standard libraries for large-scale data analysis and modeling. - Experience in building cloud-native data science applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Familiarity with Dockerized environments, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines for reproducible and scalable ML deployments. Advanced Statistical and AI Methods: - Hands-on experience with Bayesian modeling, time series forecasting, and hierarchical models. - Exposure to advanced AI domains such as NLP, Graph Neural Networks, and Deep Reinforcement Learning. Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen: - Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into actionable business strategies. - Experience supporting strategic business areas through data science solutions. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: - Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience engaging with senior leadership and global partners. Educational Background: - Preferred Masters Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, MBA, or related field with relevant work experience in a senior data science or analytics role.,
