Director - Campus Life

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies and initiatives to enhance the overall student experience across all academic and non-academic dimensions.
• Set the vision for campus life and align programs with the university mission, values, and student success goals.
• Design and oversee a diverse calendar of events, cultural festivals, student clubs, leadership programs, and co-curricular activities that build campus vibrancy.
• Encourage active student participation in clubs, societies, student government, and community service.
• Lead and coordinate student-centric services such as counseling, mental health support, wellness programs, academic advising, and career development initiatives.
• Strengthen access to health services and ensure that support structures are inclusive and responsive.
• Collaborate with faculty, administrative units, and external partners to align student life programs with academic and institutional priorities.
• Serve as a bridge between students and university leadership, advocating for student concerns and fostering transparent communication.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that ensure a welcoming environment for students from all backgrounds.
• Implement sensitization workshops and policies that support student dignity, identity, and well-being.
• Act as a liaison between the student body and university administration.
• Plan, manage, and monitor the Directorates budget in line with university goals and compliance requirements.
