Diploma Engineer Trainee

As a CNC Machine Operator in the Machine shop Camshaft maintenance department, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the machines and contributing to the production targets for the day. Here is how you can make a significant impact: - Attend the production line 5 minutes before the shift starts as per the rotation system of first, second, and third shifts. - Participate in the morning meeting to understand the production targets for the day. - Check the availability of Control plan & SOP on the work station of running Camshaft and inform the Shift supervisor if missing. - Ensure availability of the Blank format of Daily operator check list, update the machine check list, and provide training as directed by the supervisor. - Operate the machines by loading and unloading components, performing necessary inspections according to the team leader and supervisor's allocation in the manufacturing cell. - Operate multiple machines according to the man-machine ratio and stop the machine and inform the team leader or supervisor in case of any abnormalities or defects. - Change tools according to tool life, perform necessary inspections, and update records. - Collaborate closely with setters and understand machine settings when required. - Ensure continuity in operations in the absence of the next shift's reliever. - Follow a 30-minute lunch break and clean the machines at the end of the shift before handing over to the next shift operator. - Participate in AM activities with the TPM team and update the OEE sheet with all necessary downtime after the end of the shift.
