DIP Executive

• A DTP (Desktop Publishing) Executive creates, formats, and lays out visually appealing print and digital materials like brochures, magazines, and reports using specialized software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Key responsibilities include combining text and graphics, ensuring brand consistency, performing quality checks, collaborating with designers, managing deadlines, and preparing files for final production, requiring strong design sense, typography skills, and attention to detail.
• Key Responsibilities
• Design & Layout: Create and format pages for books, flyers, manuals, and digital content using DTP software.
• Content Integration: Import, edit, and arrange text, images, and graphics to form cohesive layouts.
• Quality Control: Proofread, adjust spacing, check alignments, and ensure accuracy before final output.
• Collaboration: Work with writers, editors, and marketing teams to meet design briefs and brand guidelines.
• File Preparation: Prepare and upload final files for print (CMYK) or digital (RGB).
• Project Management: Handle multiple projects, manage versions, and meet tight deadlines. Essential Skills & Qualifications
• Software Proficiency: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Design Knowledge: Typography, layout, color theory, and brand guidelines.
• Technical Skills: Photo editing, file formatting.
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, time management, communication, teamwork.
• Education: Often a degree or diploma in Graphic Design or Visual Arts.
