Role & responsibilities

Role Purpose

To lead enterprise-wide digitization programs, drive technology adoption, streamline business processes, and ensure successful implementation of digital solutions that improve operational efficiency, data visibility, and customer/employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy & Roadmap

• Develop and execute the organizations digital transformation roadmap aligned with business priorities.

• Identify automation, digitization, and process optimization opportunities across functions.

• Conduct digital maturity assessments and define future-state processes.

2. Solution Design & Implementation

• Lead end-to-end implementation of digital solutions (ERP, SAP/SuccessFactors, CRM, MES, RPA, mobility apps, workflow tools, dashboards, etc.).

• Collaborate with IT, Operations, HR, Finance, SCM, and Plant teams to ensure requirement gathering, solution fitment, and seamless deployment.

• Ensure integration between systems for consistent data flow and reporting.

3. Project Management & Governance

• Drive project timelines, budgets, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and vendor coordination.

• Establish implementation governance frameworks, documentation, and compliance adherence.

• Ensure successful UAT, migration, rollout, and stabilization of digital platforms.

4. Process Excellence & Automation

• Lead business process mapping, re-engineering, and standardization using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.

• Identify automation use cases (RPA, AI/ML, workflow digitization) and drive adoption across business units.

• Deliver measurable improvements in productivity, cycle time, cost reduction, and data accuracy.

5. Change Management & User Adoption

• Create change management frameworks, user communication plans, and training modules.

• Drive capability-building for users to increase adoption and reduce resistance.

• Monitor usage analytics and implement corrective actions for improved system adoption.

6. Data Governance & Analytics

• Oversee data quality, master data governance, and compliance with data security standards.

• Enable business intelligence through dashboards, KPIs, and real-time reporting tools.
