As a CAS & CLASS A Team Lead in Digital Modeling, you will be responsible for leading a team of digital designers and coordinating between team members, customers, and cross-functional teams. You should have a minimum of 8 to 14 years of experience in automotive exteriors and interiors design, with a particular focus on panels, plastic parts, child parts, IP, door trims, and child parts. Your role will involve converting sketches, 2D and 3D mesh/scan input data into surface models using Autodesk Alias software. You should have a good understanding of creative design intent and experience in sketch to 3D, Scan to Surface, and Class A modeling. Proficiency in Autodesk Alias is required, and skills in Sub D and Blender would be beneficial. Knowledge of visualization software such as Vred and Unreal would be an added advantage. You must be able to deliver Class A surfaces while maintaining high-quality output within tight timelines without compromising on styling intent. Additionally, you should be able to incorporate fast changes respecting engineering packages and execute tasks to achieve project milestones. Strong communication and cooperation skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams at different locations.
