Job Title: Digital Business Manager

Department: Digital / E-commerce / Operations

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Digital Business Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the digital operations of our business. You will develop and execute strategies to enhance our digital presence, optimize business processes, and improve the overall customer experience. This role requires a blend of business management expertise and a deep understanding of digital tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Strategy Development & Execution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital business strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.
  • Identify and assess new digital opportunities that can drive growth, improve customer engagement, and streamline operations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, digital technologies, and competitors to ensure the business remains innovative and competitive.
  • E-Commerce & Online Sales Management:
  • Oversee the management and optimization of our e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless customer experiences and maximizing online sales.
  • Work with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
  • Manage inventory, pricing, and product content updates on the digital platform.
  • Project Management:
  • Lead and coordinate digital projects such as website redesigns, app development, and digital product launches.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, design, marketing, and customer service.
  • Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics (KPIs) across digital platforms, including website traffic, user engagement, conversion rates, and sales performance.
  • Utilize data insights to optimize digital campaigns, improve user experience, and drive business results.
  • Regularly report on digital performance to senior leadership.
  • Customer Experience Optimization:
  • Oversee the design and implementation of digital tools and technologies aimed at enhancing the customer journey (e.g., CRM systems, chatbots, personalized experiences).
  • Ensure that customer touchpoints, including websites, mobile apps, and email marketing, are consistent, user-friendly, and optimized for conversion.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with marketing, IT, sales, and customer support teams to ensure digital initiatives align with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including digital marketing agencies, web development teams, and e-commerce platform providers.
  • Digital Product Management:
  • Oversee the development and management of digital products and services, ensuring they meet customer needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure digital products are launched and updated in alignment with market trends.
  • Branding & Digital Marketing:
  • Ensure digital marketing efforts (SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns) are aligned with the overall brand strategy.
  • Manage online advertising campaigns and ensure digital assets (e.g., websites, banners, email templates) are consistent with brand identity.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in digital business management, e-commerce, or digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of managing digital projects, driving digital strategy, and improving online sales.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and digital tools (CRM, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, etc.).
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and business analytics.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and digital product development.
  • Experience with customer experience platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and web analytics tools.
  • Experience in managing digital transformations or large-scale technology projects.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position
  • Occasional travel may be required, depending on project needs.
