About the Role:We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our team and support our SEO and link-building efforts. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of SEO, focusing primarily on link-building, content optimization, and keyword research. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone eager to learn more about SEO and digital marketing while contributing to the growth of Mailercloud.

What You Will Learn:

• Basics of SEO and the importance of on-page and off-page optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of link-building strategies and techniques.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
• Practical understanding of content creation for SEO and digital marketing.
• Exposure to real-world digital marketing campaigns for a growing SaaS company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Link Building: Research and identify opportunities for acquiring high-quality backlinks to improve website rankings.
• SEO Optimization: Assist with on-page SEO by optimizing web pages with relevant keywords and improving content.
• Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to support SEO strategies and help create content that ranks well.
• Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Content Strategy: Help create and optimize content for SEO, ensuring it is aligned with the targeted keywords and SEO best practices.
• Reporting and Analytics: Monitor the performance of SEO campaigns and assist in preparing reports using SEO tools and Google Analytics.

Skills & Qualifications:

• BTech, MBA in Marketing, BSc Computer Science, or MSc Computer Science with good grades.
• Strong written communication skills for content creation and outreach.
• A genuine interest in SEO, digital marketing, and link-building strategies.
• Basic understanding of search engines, keyword research, and SEO best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn and grow in the field of digital marketing.
• Proactive and eager to take on new challenges.
