Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager of Digital Communications and Public Relations, based in Patiala. You’re responsible for both the external voice and the internal buzz.

The role involves developing, strategizing, and executing communication plans to enhance the institute’s public image and presence. The candidate will actively identify stories from across the campus, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and manage content that strengthens the university’s brand and reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in media relations, corporate communications, and social media.
• Strong understanding of digital communication trends.
• Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role within educational institutions or related sectors is a plus.
