Diesel Mechanic

Role & Responsibilities:

A forklift diesel mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered forklifts. In the service industry, this often means working with companies that rely on heavy lifting equipment for logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or construction.

Key duties:

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.
• Servicing diesel engines (oil changes, filter replacements, etc.).
• Repairing brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, and steering systems.
• Performing routine inspections.
• Keeping service records and logging all maintenance performed.
• Sometimes working on-site at client locations.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and mechanical hand tools.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
