Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Chemical Analysis and Testing:

    • Perform routine chemical analysis on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished ductile iron pipes to ensure compliance with specifications.
    • Conduct tests to determine the chemical composition, including carbon, silicon, sulfur, phosphorus, manganese, and trace elements.
    • Evaluate the properties of castings, coatings, and materials used in the production of DI pipes.
  2. Quality Control and Process Monitoring:

    • Monitor the production process to ensure the correct chemical formulations and alloying elements are used for the manufacturing of DI pipes.
    • Conduct quality checks and ensure the mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation, meet required standards.
    • Work with the production team to resolve any discrepancies or deviations from quality standards.
  3. Ductile Iron Casting and Treatment:

    • Conduct tests on the ductile iron casting process, including molten metal analysis, to ensure the desired microstructure is achieved.
    • Perform metallurgical examinations on DI pipe samples to evaluate their microstructure and mechanical properties.
  4. Research and Development:

    • Assist in the development of new alloys and formulations to improve the properties of DI pipes.
    • Work with R&D teams to optimize the manufacturing process and ensure product innovation in line with industry advancements.
    • Research new techniques and technologies for improving the durability, corrosion resistance, and overall quality of DI pipes.
