Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement a robust international sales & marketing strategy aligned with the hospitals overall growth goals.
  • Lead market entry plans and expansion into new international geographies.
  • Oversee performance metrics, revenue generation, and ROI for all international initiatives.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify and engage international partners such as medical facilitators, embassies, insurance providers, government health bodies, and corporates.
  • Develop strong relationships with international doctors, health ministries, and referral agents.
  • Represent the hospital in international roadshows, medical tourism conferences, and expos.

Sales Operations

  • Manage end-to-end patient acquisition cycle from lead generation to conversion and post-care follow-up.
  • Set revenue targets and monitor sales pipeline from international markets.
  • Collaborate with medical departments to design packages and tailor services for international patients.

Marketing & Communication

  • Plan and execute digital, offline, and event-based marketing campaigns focused on target geographies.
  • Oversee the development of brochures, presentations, and multilingual marketing materials.
  • Enhance the hospital’s international brand visibility through PR, social media, and strategic alliances.

Patient Experience & Support

  • Ensure a seamless experience for international patients through dedicated concierge services, interpreters, travel, and accommodation support.
  • Design SOPs for high-quality clinical and hospitality service delivery for overseas patients.

Team Management

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing international sales & marketing team.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including medical, operations, finance, and legal for international patient management.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen.
  • Deep understanding of international healthcare trends and medical tourism.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong cross-cultural sensitivity and interpersonal abilities.
  • Leadership and team-building capabilities.

Qualification & Experience:

  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing, International Business, or Healthcare Management.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in international marketing/business development, preferably in the hospital/healthcare sector.
  • Proven track record in expanding international patient base and revenue.

Preferred Regions of Experience:

Middle East, Africa, SAARC, CIS, Europe, or Southeast Asia.
