Date Posted: 2025-03-17 Country: India Location: No.92 Jigani Industrial Area II, Jigani Village, Aneka,Karnataka, BANGALORE -560 105, India Position Title: DGM - Digital Technology Location : Bangalore Job Summary: The India Factory IT Manager is responsible for the operational execution and management of IT services within factory operations. This role ensures that IT solutions are effectively delivered and maintained to support the factory's operational efficiency and productivity. On a Typical Day you will Operational Liaison: Act as the primary operational contact between the factory and IT teams. Ensure clear and effective communication to support factory operations. Develop and maintain working relationships with factory personnel to address operational needs. IT Service Management: Monitor and ensure the availability, reliability and performance of IT services in the factory. Address and resolve IT issues promptly to minimize downtime. Manage the operational lifecycle of IT services, including applications, infrastructure, network, IoT, mobility, Audit and compliance. Project Implementation: Lead and coordinate the execution of DT projects, ensuring they meet operational timelines and requirements. Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate project implementation and resolve any operational challenges. Report on project progress and ensure deliverables align with factory needs and set Project benefits. Process Optimization: Identify and implement practical improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Support initiatives aimed at streamlining factory processes through technology. Stay informed on IT best practices and technologies. Change Management: Manage the impact of DT changes to ensure minimal disruption. Provide training and support to factory staff on new IT tools and systems. Engage with users to address and resolve resistance to changes. Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and availability of operational data for production and maintenance. Implement and support analytics tools to enhance operational decision-making and performance. Compliance and Security: Ensure IT operations comply with corporate policies, industry standards, and regulations. Collaborate with security teams to maintain operational security measures. Protect sensitive operational data within the factory. What You Will Need to be Successful: Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10 years in IT operations management, with min 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in operational delivery of IT services and systems (Manufacturing ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, PLM : Windchill, IoT). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and factory operations. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Effective Project management & Collaboration skills.
