● Instituting and promoting continuous integration/delivery practices for Next.js applications using server-side rendering (SSR) and incremental static regeneration (ISR) with various caching strategies.
● Working with developers to set up fully containerised application environments and enable smooth and efficient application deployments on AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
● Developing scripts and utilizing continuous integration tools to automate build, software release, and application deployment processes using Gitlab.
● Provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt (IaC).
● Managing and optimizing ElasticCloud services, for observability and logging.
● Conducting cloud security scans and hardening cloud infrastructure.
● Passion for automation, standardization, and best practices.
● Experience with relevant CI tools/technologies, such as GitLab.
● Experience with system administration and scripting in Unix/Linux environments.
● Proficiency in infrastructure provisioning tools (Docker, Terraform etc.).
● Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EKS and Cloudfront.
● Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working closely with Agile development teams.
● Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
● Experience with CMS development configuration will be an added advantage.
● Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Professional Solutions Architect and/or Cloud Practitioner Certification) will be an added advantage
