Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer in our company, your primary responsibility will be to migrate pipelines from Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD smoothly and efficiently. This task is crucial to ensure minimal disruption to the development workflows. Your duties will include analyzing and converting Jenkins Groovy scripts into GitLab YAML pipelines. You may also need to utilize Python for scripting where necessary. Moreover, you will be expected to optimize and maintain GitLab runners, configurations, and repository structures to improve overall efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Migrate pipelines from Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD - Analyze and convert Jenkins Groovy scripts into GitLab YAML pipelines - Utilize Python for scripting as needed - Optimize and maintain GitLab runners, configurations, and repository structures Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation - Strong proficiency in Jenkins (Groovy scripting) and GitLab CI/CD - Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation - Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration - Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure - Strong troubleshooting skills - Ability to work in a collaborative team environment - Certifications in GitLab, AWS/Azure, and Kubernetes are advantageous In your role, collaboration with development teams will be essential. You will closely work with them to ensure the smooth adoption of GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Addressing CI/CD failures, pipeline inefficiencies, and integration challenges will also fall under your responsibilities. Implementing GitLab security best practices, including code scanning, access controls, and compliance checks, will be part of your tasks. Additionally, monitoring pipeline performance to enhance build, test, and deployment efficiency is expected of you. Your expertise in supporting containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes will be crucial. We are looking for a candidate who not only meets the technical qualifications but also possesses strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. If you have certifications in GitLab, AWS/Azure, and Kubernetes, it would be considered advantageous.,
