GCP DevOps Tech Lead - Deployment

Objective:

Lead the migration of Azure and AWS-based Kubernetes workloads and supporting infrastructure to GCP with a focus on GKE, secure networking, CI/CD automation, and minimal disruption to application functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead migration of AWS Kubernetes workloads to

  Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

  .
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for GCP.
• Configure

  VPCs, IAM roles, Workload Identity

  , and networking for secure workloads.
• Deploy and manage Oracle, Postgres, and JMS/Kafka clusters on GCP (managed or self-hosted).
• Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting with

  Google Cloud Operations suite

  .
• Collaborate with the application tech lead to resolve infra-level issues during migration.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 812 years

  of overall experience with at least

  3+ years in GCP DevOps and infrastructure setup

  .
• Expertise in

  Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

  and container orchestration.
• Hands-on with

  Terraform / Deployment Manager / Helm

  for GCP infra automation.
• Strong knowledge of

  networking, IAM, VPC design, and security in GCP

  .
• Experience running

  databases (Oracle/Postgres)

  and

  messaging systems (ActiveMQ/Kafka)

  on cloud.
• Prior experience leading

  AWS ? GCP migrations

  .

• Certifications:

  Google Professional Cloud Architect or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
