DevOps Intern With Node.js

Job Title: DevOps Intern (Node.js)Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Intern to join our engineering team. The intern will assist in managing and improving our software deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure, with a special emphasis on our Node.js applications. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in CI/CD, containerization, and cloud services in a real-world, production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Node.js applications.
• Support the containerization of applications using Docker and help manage them with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Help deploy and manage applications on a cloud platform
• Work with developers to troubleshoot and debug application deployment issues.
• Help set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure application health and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on deployment and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Contribute to documentation of DevOps processes, infrastructure, and tool configurations.
• Learn and apply DevOps best practices, following Git workflows for version control.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern web application architecture.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Basic understanding of Linux command-line tools.
• A strong desire to learn about CI/CD, cloud computing, and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, "hacker" mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Prior experience with containerization using Docker.
• Knowledge of a CI/CD tool like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation, like Bash or Python.
• Personal projects that demonstrate practical experience with Node.js, cloud platforms, or automation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
