About the Role

Are you someone who loves automation, troubleshooting, and working with cutting-edge cloud + on-prem infrastructure? As a DevOps Intern, you will get hands-on experience in CI/CD, cloud platforms, containerization, hardware/server management, and monitoring. You'll work closely with senior DevOps engineers to streamline deployments, improve reliability, and support engineering teams.

**Responsibilities As a DevOps Intern,

Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins)

. Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Support cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) setup and troubleshooting.

Help automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Python, Bash).

Participate in monitoring and logging setup (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

Troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment-related issues.

Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth releases and deployments.

** Hardware & Infrastructure Responsibilities

Assist in managing physical servers, network devices, and on-prem hardware

Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers. Help with server racking, cabling, and organizing data center/IT room

Troubleshoot hardware failures, performance issues, and network connectivity.

Maintain inventory of hardware resources and ensure timely upgrades or replacements.

Coordinate with IT/Network teams for hardware procurement and setup.

Requirements Must-Have Skills

Basic understanding of Linux/Unix environments.

Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Bash/Python)

Knowledge of Git version control.

Understanding of Docker and basic container concepts.

Interest in hardware, servers, and networking.

Willingness to learn both cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Nice-to- Have Skills

Exposure to Kubernetes.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Basic cloud knowledge (AWS preferred).

Familiarity with server hardware architecture.

Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana/Prometheus).

Experience with Terraform/Ansible.
