DevOps GCP Engineer

Role Overview: As a DevOps GCP, your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will focus on developing and optimizing infrastructure on GCP, specifically working with Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage. Collaboration with development teams to streamline software deployment processes will also be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GCP. - Develop and optimize infrastructure on GCP, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient software deployment processes. - Implement and manage telephony integration for cloud-based communication systems (good to have). - Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues. - Interface with Enterprise SRE teams for application security and reliability tasks. Qualifications Required: - Ability to handle multiple strategic and critical projects simultaneously. - Effective interpersonal, coaching, team-building, and communication skills. - Experience running/coordinating meetings and major incident calls. - Desire for continuous improvement and ownership skills. - Flexibility to support a 24*7 environment. - Ability to communicate complex technology to non-tech audiences effectively.,
