Job description Exp: 5 to 8 Years Location: Hyderabad Position: DevOps Engineer Work Mode: 5 Days work from office Shift Timing: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Notice period: Only Immediate joiner (Can join in 15 days max.) Job Summary: We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience in managing both Azure and on-premises environments for hosting and managing web applications using Visual Studio along with Python and SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automating deployment processes, managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and streamlining operations for both cloud and on-premises setups. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage infrastructure in Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments. Ensure scalability, availability, and security of cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Monitor and maintain application performance, ensuring minimal downtime. Implement disaster recovery strategies and backup solutions. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar. Automate build, test, and deployment processes for web applications developed in C# with Visual Studio. Integrate automated testing tools and processes within CI/CD pipelines. Automation & Configuration Management: Utilize tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Write PowerShell/Bash scripts to automate routine tasks. Application Hosting and Monitoring: Deploy and manage web applications hosted on Azure App Services, IIS, or other on-premises environments. Monitor performance and availability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or equivalent tools. Proactively troubleshoot issues related to web applications, network, or infrastructure. Database Management: Ensure the stability and performance of SQL Server databases, both on-premise and on the cloud. Automate database backups, restores, and regular maintenance tasks. Work closely with developers and DBAs to optimize database performance. Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), network security groups (NSGs), firewalls, and data encryption. Ensure compliance with company security policies and external regulatory requirements. Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (AAD). Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles. Proficiency in managing Azure cloud infrastructure and on-premises hosting environments. Strong experience with C# development environments using Visual Studio and SQL Server. Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines. Experience with IaaS/PaaS services in Azure, such as Azure VMs, Azure App Services, and Azure SQL. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible. Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) for automation. Knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices. Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
