Job Summary:

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer with 34 years of experience in managing and automating cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate must also have hands-on experience with AWS cloud functions, specifically Lambda, S3, SES, and IAM user/role management. The role involves infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD automation, system reliability, and secure cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure (Primary: Azure & GCP)

• Develop and maintain Azure Functions and GCP Cloud Functions for serverless workloads.
• Manage cloud resources, including computing, storage, networking, identity, and monitoring, on both platforms.
• Optimize performance, availability, and cost across multi-environment deployments.
• Define and enforce secure IAM policies and RBAC roles in Azure and GCP.

AWS Cloud Functions (Hands-On Mandatory)

• Develop and deploy AWS Lambda functions for serverless compute use-cases.
• Manage and configure Amazon S3 for object storage (policies, events, lifecycle rules).
• Configure Amazon SES for transactional and notification email delivery.
• Handle IAM Users/Roles, manage access policies, MFA, and least-privilege principles.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Provision and manage infrastructure across all clouds using Terraform (multi-cloud modules preferred).
• Maintain reusable and modular templates for Azure, GCP, and AWS.

CI/CD Pipelines

• Build and manage pipelines using:
• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD
• Automate deployments of services, functions, and infrastructure.
• Integrate linting, testing, approvals, and rollback logic into the pipeline.
• MongoDB Backup & Snapshot Management
• Configure and monitor MongoDB Atlas or self-hosted instances.
• Set up automated backups, snapshot schedules, and point-in-time recovery.
• Test restore operations and ensure backup consistency and retention.
• Monitoring & Logging
• Configure monitoring and alerts using:
• Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite, AWS CloudWatch
• Set up log aggregation, error tracking, and anomaly detection.

Security & Compliance

• Manage secrets with Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, and GCP Secret Manager.
• Enforce infrastructure security, access control, encryption, and compliance controls.
• Ensure infrastructure adheres to security standards and performs incident response practices.
• Ensure infrastructure meets security compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001).
• Manage IAM roles, secrets, certificates, and policies across cloud platforms.

Required Skills:

• Cloud Platforms:
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure and GCP
• Hands-on knowledge in AWS Lambda, S3, SES, and IAM
• Infrastructure as Code:
• Proficiency in Terraform for multi-cloud resource management
• CI/CD & Automation:
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD

MongoDB:

• Knowledge of MongoDB backups, snapshots, replication, and performance tuning

Scripting:

• Proficient in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS, GKE)
• Exposure to Serverless Framework or CloudFormation

Cloud certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer
• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate
