DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

The

DevOps Engineer

will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating infrastructure, and managing scalable cloud environments. This role requires a strong foundation in cloud platforms (AWS), containerization technologies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), along with a focus on reliability, automation, and security.

The position plays a critical role in ensuring seamless build, deployment, and operational processes for the organization s financial applications and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain
robust CI/CD pipelines
using
Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
.
Develop, manage, and deploy
containerized applications
using
Docker
, and orchestrate them using
Kubernetes
or
OpenShift
.
Automate
infrastructure provisioning and configuration
using
Terraform
and other
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
tools.
Manage and optimize
AWS cloud infrastructure
, ensuring scalability, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor system and application performance using observability tools; troubleshoot production issues proactively.
Collaborate closely with
development, QA, and release management teams
to streamline the software delivery lifecycle.
Implement
DevSecOps practices
to ensure system
security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness
.
Maintain technical documentation, build playbooks, and provide support or training to internal teams.

Technical Skills Required:

CI/CD Tools:
Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
Containerization:
Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Terraform, CloudFormation (optional)
Cloud Platforms:
AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, EKS, etc.)
Scripting Languages:
Python, Shell, or Groovy
Monitoring & Logging:
Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalent
Version Control:
Git / GitHub / GitLab
Knowledge of
