Job Description

In this role,

you will provide an essential part of the DevOps product workflow for the Company Transit IoT and Smart Data function providing technical expertise and leadership in DevOps methodology including; Gitlab, Docker, SDLC, CI/CD, Agile Software Development, Configuration Management, and pipeline troubleshooting. You will be responsible for automating the CI/CD process of a wide range of cloud based applications and SaaS offerings using latest cloud technologies and infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is passionate about automating processes, delivering high quality systems, and continuously improving processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and passionate professional to contribute to the protection of our organizations information assets.

Support and improve tooling for continuous build, automated testing and release management

Profile build processes and identify bottlenecks

Demonstrate expertise in writing scripts to automate tasks

Implements Continuous Integration/Deployment build principles

Expertise in Docker image build optimization

Work to consolidate and improve CI/CD processes

Help the iAM function develop an overall strategy for deploying code

Other duties as assigned

Team Technical Stack:

Experienced in DevOps Domain with work done in Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment, Release Automation and Management, Environment Management.

Familiarity with maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab

Familiarity in administering version control systems such as Git, etc. with understanding of branching/merging models in Git.

Exposure to Agile methodology and working with Agile development teams.

Support and improve tooling for continuous build, automated testing and release management

Must have skills for this role:

Professional Technical Experience: 4+ Years

Docker Experience: 1+ Years Professional Technical Experience: 5+ Years

Kubernetes Experience:

2+ Years

BE/BTech/MTech in ECE /Computer Science /EEE /IT or MCA.

2+ Years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD activities especially in Java based systems

Experienced in DevOps Domain with work done in Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment, Release Automation and Management, Environment Management.

Familiarity with maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab

Familiarity in administering version control systems such as Git, etc. with understanding of branching/merging models in Git.

Exposure to Agile methodology and working with Agile development teams.

Support and improve tooling for continuous build, automated testing and release management
