DevOps Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing an AWS production system as a DevOps Engineer at Prismberry. Your role will involve installing, programming, and overseeing an AWS production environment, ensuring scalability, security, and dependability. Utilizing troubleshooting methodologies, you will resolve issues across various platforms and domains. Additionally, you will automate operational procedures and lead engineering and operational support for Cloud and Enterprise installations. Your role will also involve leading platform security initiatives and providing CI/CD and IAC standards for teams to follow. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage an AWS production system - Install, program, maintain, and oversee an AWS production environment - Ensure scalability, security, and dependability of production systems on AWS - Resolve issues across various application domains and platforms using troubleshooting methodologies - Automate operational procedures through tool design, upkeep, and management - Lead engineering and operational support for Cloud and Enterprise installations - Lead platform security initiatives and provide CI/CD and IAC standards for teams to follow Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS services - Solid experience in cloud-based operations at scale - Strong experience with AWS products/services and Kubernetes - Good experience in Java development - Experience developing Infrastructure as Code in Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc. - Experience with CI/CD solutions like Argo-CD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins - Experience with common relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL - Good understanding of event messaging, networking, and distributed systems - Ability to work independently and thrive in a learning-demanding environment Please note that the additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.,
