Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Pune, India Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview As a DevOps Engineer at BMW TechWorks India, you will play a critical role in shaping the infrastructure and automation backbone of our cloud-native applications and enterprise platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines, IaC deployments, and container orchestration systems. Key Responsibilities Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision scalable, secure, and reusable cloud infrastructure. Automate configuration management and provisioning using Ansible . Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins , integrating source control with Git workflows. Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes in production environments. Monitor system health and performance with appropriate tools and automate responses to infrastructure issues. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline software delivery and deployment processes. Implement security, monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices across infrastructure and pipelines. Participate in on-call support rotations for production systems and critical services. Required Skills and Experience 3 to 8 years of experience in DevOps or related roles. Strong hands-on expertise in: Terraform for cloud provisioning (AWS/Azure/GCP). Ansible for automation and configuration management. Docker for containerization and image management. Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling of microservices. Jenkins for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Git for version control and collaboration workflows. Solid understanding of Linux-based systems and shell scripting. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Experience with Agile and DevOps practices in a product-centric environment. Candidate should be ready for a face-to-face technical discussion at our Pune office. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certification in AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes (CKA), or Terraform. Exposure to cloud-native development patterns and microservice architectures.
