Senior Engineer - DevOps Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources, including VMs, storage, AKS, API Management, Service Bus, EventHub, and monitoring tools.

• Monitor system performance, implement alerts, and provide dashboards and regular reports for key infrastructure and integration metrics.

• Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including deployments, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Administer Azure API Management, including provisioning, upgrades, security setup, monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Administer Apache Airflow or similar orchestration platforms, including DAG management, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting workflows.

• Administer and maintain middleware integration environments (e.g., TIBCO), including deployments, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Administer and maintain web applications infrastructure, including deployment, setup, monitoring, and support.

• Implement and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, deployment, and system maintenance.

• Collaborate with middleware, web apps, and data engineering teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes and data pipeline operations.

• Document processes, system configurations, and runbooks for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Azure cloud platform, including resource provisioning, management, and monitoring.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration platforms administration and DAG troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Fivetran or other ETL/ELT tools for pipeline administration is plus.

• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar) for automation and administration tasks.

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (Pulumi, ARM templates, etc.).

• Monitoring and alerting tools experience (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
