DevOps Engineer - Azure Cloud Services

As a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure Cloud Services, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for Unifize, a company that is revolutionizing the way life science and manufacturing companies manage processes and communication to drive innovation. Your responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and managing our Azure-based infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows, establishing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, optimizing cloud costs and resource utilization, leading incident response and troubleshooting, as well as implementing security best practices and compliance requirements. Additionally, you will be tasked with documenting infrastructure and operational procedures to ensure smooth operations. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 2 years of DevOps/Cloud engineering experience with a minimum of 1 year working specifically with Azure services such as App Service, Functions, Storage, SQL, and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and ARM templates is essential, along with strong scripting/programming skills in Bash, Python, or Golang. Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and an understanding of networking concepts and security principles are also required. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in scaling infrastructure for growing businesses, knowledge of compliance and security requirements for cloud services, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and possession of Azure certifications such as AZ-104 and AZ-400.
