Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, automation, and containerized applications. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Linux, and scripting, along with problem-solving and analytical skills to support enterprise-grade IT operations and software deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Automation:
Implement and manage automated infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform.
Containerization & Orchestration:
Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes clusters.
Cloud Management:
Operate and maintain cloud environments on IBM, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Linux Administration:
Manage and troubleshoot Linux systems for optimal performance and security.
Scripting & CI/CD:
Develop scripts in Python or Bash and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Travis, or Concourse.
Problem Solving & Collaboration:
Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot issues and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Education:

Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
UG options: B.Tech/B.E., B.Sc, BCA in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related disciplines

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

5+ years of experience in IT Operations / Software Engineering
2+ years hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (IBM / AWS / Azure / Google Cloud)
2+ years hands-on experience with Ansible and Docker
Strong Linux OS and CLI knowledge
Proficiency in scripting (Python and/or Bash)
Familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins, Travis, Concourse, etc.)

Preferred Certifications:

Red Hat Ansible Automation (RH294)
Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
Advanced Automation with Red Hat Ansible (DO374)
Optional: HashiCorp Terraform Associate (003), HashiCorp Vault Associate (002)
