Role Overview: As a part of Nomia, you will be contributing to helping companies reduce costs, manage risks, and increase efficiency for non-strategic third-party spend. Your role will involve leading a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features aligned with business goals. You will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, team collaboration, and timely delivery through effective planning, mentorship, and hands-on support. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of software solutions using dev tools like Node.js, React.js, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB - Guide the team on best practices for containerization and deployment using Docker, Docker compose, and related tools - Review code to ensure adherence to quality, performance, and security standards - Design scalable and secure system architectures, leveraging containerization and microservices - Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth (2.0) - Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions - Oversee deployment processes and ensure system reliability using DevOps best practices - Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues across environments in Azure and AWS - Mentor developers, fostering technical growth and collaboration within the team - Allocate resources effectively and ensure timely delivery of milestones Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in Node.js, React.js, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB - At least 2+ years of technical leadership experience, including mentoring and conducting code reviews - Proficiency in containerization using Docker and orchestration tools - Experience with Azure/AWS cloud platforms - Strong knowledge of OAuth (2.0) for authentication and authorization - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions - Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including infrastructure automation and monitoring - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders - Problem-solving mindset and ability to make informed decisions under pressure - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively - Knowledge of microservices architecture and related tools - Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools is a plus Additional Details: Nomia is a global team based in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Dubai, Poland, and the United States.
