We act as an extension of our customer’s procurement team by executing the end-to-end sourcing, supplier onboarding and contracting process for indirect categories of spend. We are a global team based in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Dubai, Poland, and the United States. The Role This role is responsible for leading a cross-functional POD of frontend and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features aligned with business goals. You will ensure technical excellence, team collaboration, and timely delivery through effective planning, mentorship, and hands-on support. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of software solutions using dev tools like Node.js, React.js, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Guide the team on best practices for containerization and deployment using Docker, Docker compose and related tools Review code to ensure adherence to quality, performance, and security standards Design scalable and secure system architectures, leveraging containerization and microservices Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth (2.0) Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions Oversee deployment processes and ensure system reliability using DevOps best practices Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues across environments in Azure and AWS Mentor developers, fostering technical growth and collaboration within the team Allocate resources effectively and ensure timely delivery of milestones Skills/Qualifications Minimum 8+ years’ experience in software development, with expertise in Node.js, React.js, PostgreSQL and MongoDB At least 2+ years of technical leadership experience, including mentoring and conducting code reviews Proficiency in containerization using Docker and orchestration tools Experience with Azure/AWS cloud platforms Strong knowledge of OAuth (2.0) for authentication and authorisation Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including infrastructure automation and monitoring Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders Problem-solving mindset and ability to make informed decisions under pressure Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively Knowledge of microservices architecture and related tools Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools is a plus Familiarity with performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools General Information Adhere to Nomia’s data protection and information security policies at all times. The Role We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Platform team. In this role, you’ll work closely with developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure that our sprint execution runs smoothly, dependencies are managed, and blockers are swiftly resolved. While you’ll bring structure to our delivery process with “scrum master” experience, you’ll also roll up your sleeves to drive day-to-day coordination, help the team stay focused, and support our maturing product and tech function as we scale. Responsibilities Own the day-to-day delivery process of our development team, ensuring smooth execution of sprints and alignment across teams Work closely with frontend and backend developers to ensure dependencies are understood and managed effectively Ensure tasks and stories are well-defined, estimated appropriately, and prioritised for delivery Maintain sprint boards and ensure sprint plans reflect team capacity and business priorities Act as the first point of contact for clarifications on tasks, designs, or technical dependencies Proactively identify and remove blockers to keep delivery on track Coordinate and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demo’s, backlog grooming, and retrospectives as needed Support the Product Owner in tracking progress against sprint goals and flagging risks or delays Drive clear communication between engineering, product, and business stakeholders Encourage continuous improvement by helping the team reflect on and adapt delivery processes Contribute to shaping our delivery practices as the product and tech function matures Skills/Qualifications Experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role in a tech or SaaS environment Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), with a pragmatic approach to applying them Excellent communication and collaboration skills Comfort working in evolving environments where processes are still being shaped Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to proactively identify issues and drive solutions Familiarity with common delivery tools (e.g. Jira, Figma, GitHub) General Information Adhere to Nomia’s data protection and information security policies at all times.
