Development Senior Associate (Appian Developer)

As a Senior Associate Appian Developer at DTCC, you will play a crucial role in re-platforming applications from legacy technology stack to Appian as the chosen Low-code platform. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Creating scalable and resilient Appian applications using different Appian objects such as process models, data fabric, record actions, SAIL interfaces, Connected systems, Authorization and authentication, Timer events, and reporting. - Collaborating with the Lead Architect to design the Appian objects necessary for effective application delivery. - Contributing to technical documentation including Design documents, ERD, and architectural discussions. - Working with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum settings. - Participating in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD processes. - Troubleshooting and resolving application issues and performance concerns. - Being involved in Data migration from Legacy technology stacks to Appian. - Participating in discussions with the Product team on the implementation of new features/support tickets. Qualifications required for success in this role include: - 5-6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise applications using Appian BPM (19.X,20.X+). - Appian L2 certification is preferred. - Proficiency in architecting scalable, high-performance Appian solutions. - Skills in creating and managing Appian objects like SAIL interfaces, process models, records, rules, and decision logic, with strong debugging capabilities. - Experience in multiple areas of Appian development including workflows, SAIL interfaces, process models, records, sites, reports, rules, and AI Skills. - Strong experience in integrating Appian with external systems using Web APIs, RESTful services, Appian Connected Systems, and custom plug-ins. - Good knowledge of RDBMS (SQL/Oracle), creation of data models, and ERD diagrams. - Familiarity with Agile development methodology including Scrum and Kanban. - Experience in mentoring associates on Appian.
