Role Overview: As a Java Developer at GlobalLogic, you will be responsible for working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, agile development environment. Your key focus will be on supporting short iterative cycles and being flexible in understanding changing business priorities. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver complex software projects while providing technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced professional staff. Key Responsibilities: - Review new features' requirements - Implement new solution features by developing Java code and bug-fixing developed code - Self-test developed features - Cover code with unit tests - Write automation test cases for functional tests of developed features - Provide demo sessions for developed functionality Qualification Required: - Minimum of 6 years of commercial experience in software development with Java and microservices - Proficiency in Agile development methodologies such as test-driven development, continuous integration, code coverage, and code analysis - Effective interpersonal communication skills in a highly collaborative team environment - Experience with technologies like RESTful, SOAP, JMS, JPA/Hibernate, MyBatis, SQL, Jboss 7.x, Docker, k8s, helm, Maven, Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Bash, PostgreSQL, JUnit, OpenStack, and RESTEasy - Knowledge of Cloud Computing and Virtualization technologies like OpenStack and OPNFV, as well as industry standards in the Telecom market like ETSI-NFV - Experience in developing applications with microservices architecture - Familiarity with additional technologies such as Camunda, BPMN, Spring Boot, Linux x86, and further exposure to OpenStack and k8s would be a plus Additional Company Details: GlobalLogic is a trusted digital engineering partner to the world's largest and most forward-thinking companies.
