Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at client end while ensuring they meet 100% quality assurance parameters. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the requirements and design of the product/software - Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes - Investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle - Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues - Identify ideas to improve system performance and availability - Analyze client requirements and convert them into feasible designs - Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts for detailed investigation into software requirements - Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development - Determine operational feasibility and evaluate analysis, problem definition, requirements, and proposed software - Develop and automate processes for software validation - Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces - Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status - Ensure error-free code and conduct thorough testing - Compile comprehensive documentation and reports as required - Coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress - Provide feedback on usability and serviceability - Capture client requirements and feedback continuously - Participate in education and training for skill enhancement - Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications - Document solutions through various means for clear understanding - Maintain good quality interaction with customers through various communication channels - Respond to customer requests promptly and ensure satisfaction Qualifications Required: - Experience: 5-8 years - Strong knowledge and experience in software development - Ability to analyze, design, and develop software applications - Proficiency in coding and testing software - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to new technologies - Experience in documenting software solutions and client interactions Note: The company, Wipro, is described as a modern digital transformation partner with ambitious reinvention goals, encouraging constant evolution, and empowering employees to design their own reinvention.
