Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you are responsible for developing error-free code with high-quality validation of applications. You will guide other developers and assist the Lead Software Engineering in various technical tasks. Your key responsibilities include understanding and providing input to application designs, coding, debugging, testing, and documenting product features. Moreover, you will be involved in selecting appropriate technical options for development, optimizing efficiency, and mentoring junior developers to enhance their performance. In this role, you are expected to identify problem patterns, improve technical designs, and proactively address issues in module implementation. You will also assist the Lead Software Engineering in technical design review activities and demonstrate capabilities in making technical decisions. Adherence to engineering processes and standards, meeting project timelines, and ensuring compliance with SLAs are crucial aspects of your performance evaluation. You will be accountable for managing defects, estimating project efforts, creating documentation, and contributing to project-related knowledge sharing. Your role will require you to develop code independently, configure and monitor the configuration process, and create unit test cases for validation. Having a good understanding of the business problem being addressed for the client is essential in developing relevant features and components. You will also be responsible for managing project activities at the module level, performing defect root cause analysis, and estimating time and resources for work completion. Additionally, you should possess strong communication skills to explain and communicate designs to customers, evaluate test results, and collaborate effectively with team members. Being a team player, proactive in seeking and offering help, and having good written and verbal communication abilities are essential for success in this role. Overall, your proficiency in ERP, code development, RCA, and ServiceNow will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software solutions and contributing to the success of the projects you are involved in.,
