Description
As an Integration Developer at Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), you will be part of the Enterprise Information Management team, contributing to the delivery of solutions for various business organizations through cross-system application and data integrations. You will collaborate with experts in data, ETL, and integrations, playing a crucial role in the integration team. Key Responsibilities: - Build, maintain, and support applications in a global software platform and various other corporate systems, tools, and scripts. - Collaborate with internal groups to translate business and functional requirements into technical implementations for automation and new application development. - Communicate with internal customers in non-technical terms, understand business requirements, and propose solutions. - Manage projects from specification gathering to deployment, following proper SDLC procedures. - Document changes and follow SDLC procedures. - Enhance team and coworkers through knowledge sharing and implementing best practices. - Continually learn and enhance technical knowledge and skills. Qualifications Required: - BS degree preferably in CS or EE, or a related discipline. - 2-3 years of experience as an integration developer using applications like Talend or MuleSoft or any other. - Familiarity with building multi-threaded applications and distributed systems like Kafka, Rabbit MQ. - Experience in developing REST-based services. - Familiarity with different data formats like JSON, XML. - High proficiency in RDBMS concepts and SQL. - Understanding of design patterns and object-oriented design concepts. - Experience with deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects.
