Desktop Publishing Operator

As a DTP Operator at one of the leading educational companies in Mumbai, your primary responsibility will be to design educational materials using various software programs and tools. You will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing layouts for textbooks, workbooks, study guides, and other printed or digital resources. This will involve organizing text, images, graphs, charts, and other elements in a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing manner. Your duties will also include typesetting and formatting text to ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, spacing, and alignment. You will apply appropriate formatting styles for headings, subheadings, paragraphs, bullet points, and other text elements. In addition, you may be required to edit and enhance images for publication purposes. Tasks such as cropping, resizing, adjusting brightness and contrast, and removing background distractions may be part of your responsibilities. Proficiency in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, as well as other relevant tools, is essential for this role. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editing software is also important. Effective time management is crucial in the publishing industry, and you will be expected to meet deadlines by managing your workload efficiently and prioritizing tasks to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality educational materials. As a DTP Operator in the education publication industry, your role is instrumental in creating engaging materials that facilitate effective learning experiences for students and educators. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and should be located in Lower Parel. The working hours are Monday to Saturday for 9 hours each day.,
