Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Airfield Drainage Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment, with a strong background in hydraulic and hydrological principles.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare DRB, design reports, and technical specifications for storm water drainage and related works.
Manage design and delivery coordination with other disciplines.
Create various drainage-related drawings at project stages, including drainage layout plans, profiles, typical drainage sections, cross-sections, and GAD for structural and utility coordination.
Collaborate with other design disciplines within an agreed engineering management environment to ensure design integration.
Provide inputs to BoQ and Costing engineer and prepare design basis, scope, and technical specifications for tender purposes.
Contribute to work on proposal submission when required.

Job Requirements

Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment.
Education: Graduation or Post Graduation in M.Tech Water Resources/Hydrology & Hydraulics.
Consultancy experience in scheme/detailed designs/GFC/Tender is preferred.
Experience working in storm drainage infrastructure works, rail, roads, or airport sector drainage works.
Proficiency in drainage modelling software such as Bentley Civil Storm/SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS.
Hands-on knowledge of QGIS, Civil3D, and AutoCAD is preferable.
Strong leadership and communication skills with teams and stakeholders.
Practical experience in fieldwork related to drainage projects.
Familiarity with CWC guidelines, Indian and International Codal provisions.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
