Job Description :

The Design & Project Coordinator is responsible for managing design activities, preparing engineering drawings/documents, and coordinating end-to-end project execution. The role ensures smooth communication between design teams, vendors, and site teams to deliver projects on time with required quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Responsibilities
• Prepare and update engineering drawings (CAD/technical layouts) as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with design engineers for technical inputs and ensure correct documentation.
• Review drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications before submission.
• Maintain drawing records and ensure revision control.
• Support in preparation of design reports, datasheets, and compliance documents.
• Project Coordination Responsibilities
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for project updates.
• Prepare project schedules, daily/weekly progress reports, and documentation.
• Track project milestones and follow up for timely completion of tasks.
• Arrange material requirements, vendor follow-ups, and site communication.
• Support project execution team with drawings, approvals, and technical clarifications.
• Assist in site visits, measurements, and resolving on-site design issues.
• Documentation & Communication
• Maintain project files, approvals, MOMs, and communication logs.
• Ensure smooth information flow between design team and site team.
• Support preparation of final project documentation and handover files.

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / relevant design tools.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and project workflow.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage timelines.
• Problem-solving and detail-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Environmental or relevant field).

1–3 years of experience in design or project coordination (freshers with skills can also apply).

Additional Advantages

Experience in Water/Wastewater Treatment projects (STP/ETP/RO) is preferred.

Ability to travel for site coordination when required.
