Design Lead Solar (Civil / Structural)

As a Design Lead (Civil / Structural) for Solar projects, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing the engineering activities related to Civil and Structural Engineering of Solar PV Power Plants. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and guiding the modellers in developing BIM 3D Models for PV Solar Power plants, coordinating with various departments for inter-departmental checks, and providing support throughout the engineering cycle from pre-bid stages to commissioning and O&M. You will lead a team of Design Engineers and Draughts Persons to ensure engineering activities are managed efficiently within budget, delivered on time, and meet high-quality standards. Your key responsibilities will involve ensuring timely delivery of engineering drawings and documents, aligning deliveries with project schedules, reviewing drawings and calculations, coordinating with multiple disciplines, estimating man-hour requirements, reviewing BOQs, and providing technical support to the site execution team. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, inspecting equipment, collecting project details, and supporting electrical and instrumentation teams in reviewing vendor drawings. In terms of technical expertise, you are expected to have a strong understanding of civil and structural engineering activities related to Solar Power Plants, including control room buildings, foundations, grading, roads, drainage, and steel structures. You should be able to review vendor engineering documents and interpret contractual technical requirements to support project teams effectively. This is a full-time position that requires you to work during day shifts at the designated work location.,
