Key Responsibilities: System Design & Engineering: Lead the design and engineering of solar PV panels, including layout planning, electrical schematics, and structural design. Technical Analysis: Perform energy yield analysis, load flow studies, and fault current calculations using industry-standard software. Equipment Selection: Evaluate and select key components such as solar panels, inverters, transformers, and mounting structures. AC/DC side experience. Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet national and international standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc.), local regulatory requirements, and grid codes. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and execution alignment. Site Assessment: Conduct site visits for feasibility studies, shadow analysis, and geotechnical evaluations. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical drawings, design reports, and bill of materials for project execution. Innovation & Optimization: Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with consultants, clients, and regulatory bodies for design approvals and technical discussions. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3-8 years of experience in solar power plant design and engineering. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, ETAP, and STAAD Pro. Strong understanding of electrical power systems, structural engineering, and solar PV technology.
