Design Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings for new and existing products. Design products considering functionality, cost, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards. Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing. Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing processes Assist in troubleshooting design-related production issues and implementing corrective actions. Ensure designs meet industry regulations, safety standards, and customer specifications. Perform design validation and analysis (FEA, tolerance analysis, etc.) to ensure reliability. Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and reports. Work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to align on design requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Education: DME or B.E, Industrial Design, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in product design, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar). Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, VMC machining, Conventional machining etc.). Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
