Job Description

Position: Design Engineer/ Project Engineer (Mechanical) Number of positions: 8 Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai Experience Requirements: Between 2 6 years of experience in Mechanical Field - Under 3 years experience – Design Engineer Position - 4+ experience – Project engineer position Desired Knowledge/Experience: Key areas: Mechanical subsystem design/hydraulics/fabrication/sheet metal/Engine/ powerpack Strong foundation in engineering basics, design calculations and validations Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials (OEM experience) Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical structural design, and heavy machinery products Knowledge of topics like strength of materials, weldment design, mechanisms, FEA etc Knowledge of mechanical/hydraulic/electrical component sizing and selection will be an added advantage. Familiarity of New Product Development and engineering CN release process Good understanding of GD&T and Tolerances Hands on Experience in 3D CAD modelling & 2d drawing creation Creo Ipem/Team center knowledge will be an added advantage. Job Description: Receive and study the input. Understand the requirement and plan the work accordingly, ensuring timely delivery with quality and efficiency Generate concepts, perform engineering calculations, make detailed design and select components from suppliers. Propose innovative solutions and creative ideas and finalize the design with customer. Preparation of 2D drawings and 3D models in Creo/windchill, Performing BOM changes and CNs using Team centre Maintain effective and timely communication with customers and stakeholders. Stay sharp towards acquiring new and maintaining existing competencies. Bring in synergy in the team by sharing and learning. Addressing customer questions and troubleshooting problems Reporting to Manager/Team Lead in a timely and efficient manner Comply with company policies and follow company values and business code of practice. Educational Qualifications: BE/BTech-Mechanical–Reputed institute (min 70% or 7.5 CGPA) Personality requirements: Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills Self-starter and goal oriented Enthusiastic, positive minded and able to work well in an international client environment Attention to details and strong inclination to learn.
