ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Designation: AM/DM/Manager

Department: Design Engineering

Reports to: Head

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Responsibilities:

1. Design of static equipment in compliance with international standards including ASME Sec

VIII Div. 1 & 2, PD 5500, API 650, TEMA, NACE, ASCE and specific project specifications.

2. Drive pre-bid engineering activities: review tender documents, prepare technical proposals,

define equipment scope, and identify deviations to optimize project feasibility and

competitiveness.

3. Prepare Material Requisitions, Enquiry Specifications, and conduct Technical Bid Evaluations

for static equipment such as pressure vessels, columns, and shell & tube heat exchangers.

4. Review and approval of Mechanical Design & Detail drawing and ensure submission to client.

5. Review and approve vendor deliverables: technical queries, fabrication drawings.

6. Validate and audit design calculations, incorporating comments from ASME Authorized

Inspectors (AI).

7. Lead detailed drawing checks including internal component layouts and sub-order sketches.

8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Production, QA/QC, Projects, Procurement, and

interface with EPC contractors and end users for smooth execution.

9. Mentor and manage a team of Design and CAD Engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables

aligned with project timelines.

10. Define and monitor KPIs, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and implement risk

& opportunity management in alignment with ISO 9001:2015.

11. Spearhead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies across

design workflows.

12. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) & 5S practices within the engineering department to

drive workplace efficiency and safety.

13. Responsible for ASME Re-Certification Audits, ensuring full compliance with code and quality

standards.
