Key Responsibilities:

Design Development:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Develop and review designs, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and fabrication teams to understand project requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of designs for approval and production.

Material Optimization:

• Recommend suitable materials based on design requirements and project constraints.
• Optimize designs for material usage, reducing waste and costs.

Quality Assurance:

• Check designs for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during fabrication and installation.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain design documentation and records for all projects.
• Prepare project reports and updates for stakeholders.

Innovation and Improvement:

• Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and techniques in the fabrication industry.
• Suggest improvements to existing processes for better efficiency and quality.

Key Requirements:

• Educational Qualification:

Bachelors degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in design, preferably in the fabrication or manufacturing industry.

• Skills:

• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). o Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials. o Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
• Experience with CNC programming is a plus.
