Design Engineer (Mechanical)

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Design Engineer Trainee. Your main responsibility will be to assist in the design and development of sheet metal tooling and stamping components. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for mechanical engineering and a keen interest in learning and advancing in a dynamic work environment. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in designing and developing sheet metal tooling and stamping components using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. You will collaborate with the design team to create 2D and 3D models, prototypes, and test parts. Working closely with the manufacturing team, you will ensure the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of designs. Additionally, you will be involved in testing and validating sheet metal tooling and stamping components, documenting design and testing results, and participating in design reviews and brainstorming sessions to come up with innovative solutions. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and possess a strong knowledge of CAD software, particularly SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Experience or a strong interest in sheet metal tooling and stamping design is preferred. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication and teamwork abilities, and the capacity to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential. A willingness to learn, grow, and stay updated with industry trends is crucial for success in this role.
