Design Engineer I

As a Design Engineer 1 at Regal Rexnord, your role involves creating 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks. You will be responsible for maintaining metrics and supporting the team in completing projects related to ETO, PLS, VAVE, SE, and documentation. Communication with onsite and offshore teams on a daily basis for work updates, status, and queries is a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be performing quality checks of drawings and aligning them with the team's processes and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks - Maintain metrics and support the team in project completion - Communicate with onsite and offshore teams for work updates and status - Perform quality checks on drawings and ensure alignment with team processes - Knowledge of Mechanical Design & Manufacturing process - Experience in Mechanical Power Transmission & Rotating Equipment, preferably in couplings - Ability to read and create engineering drawings in CAD software, preferably in Inventor, SolidWorks & Creo - Working knowledge of Engineering CAD Data Management systems DDM/Windchill - Good analytical and English communication skills (verbal and written) Qualification & Experience: - B.E/B.
