Job Description

Hi Everyone, Greetings from Greaves Technologies..!! We're hiring for an immediate open position for Design Engineer. Job-Description: Design and develop plastic & rubber components based on project requirements. Also extensive experience in sheet metal parts (Stamping) mounting, etc. Strong knowledge in UG NX Modelling & Drafting, NX CAE, Basic drawing standards, DFA & DFS. Fundamental knowledge & understanding of product development lifecycle. Strong knowledge of MS Office tools like Powerpoint, Excel, etc. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met. Conduct material selection and testing to ensure durability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues w.r.t design, drawings, processes. Maintain documentation and records of design changes, testing results, and production metrics. Job-Role: 1.Support Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise in Plastic, rubber design & Sheet metal. 2.Design and Drawings: Create detailed engineering drawings and 3D models for forging and casting components using CAD software (NX) 3.PLM System Management: Release and manage drawings and related documentation in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
