Design Engineer

Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD , and a strong foundation in mechanical and structural design . Role & responsibilities Develop and design mechanical components, assemblies, and structural frameworks using SolidWorks and AutoCAD . Prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation . Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and project management. Perform tolerance analysis, stress and strain analysis, material selection, when required. Modify existing designs to improve performance or accommodate changes in requirements. Assist in prototype development, testing, and validation. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality procedures. Maintain design files, drawing revisions, and project documentation. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or related field. Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience in structural design will be considered a strong advantage. Minimum 16 years of relevant industry experience. Good understanding of fabrication processes, GD&T, and material properties. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
