Design Engineer - Electrical

You will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and implementing electrical layouts for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects, ensuring technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with industry standards. - Design and develop electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and layouts for solar PV projects. - Perform load calculations, cable sizing, inverter selection, and earthing/lighting protection design. - Conduct feasibility studies and site surveys to evaluate electrical requirements. - Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely execution. - Ensure designs comply with IEC, IS, NEC, and other relevant codes and standards. - Prepare technical documentation, BOQ, and support tendering activities. - Assist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech). - 2-4 years of proven experience in solar PV system design. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar design tools. - Strong understanding of solar inverters, modules, cables, and protection devices. - Knowledge of grid connectivity standards and utility regulations. You will be working at Ambattur Industrial Estate from Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 18:00. Please note that the company offers health insurance and Provident Fund benefits.
